Lip Scrub
Although it seems as though it never was going to happen, there are a few hints that winter is slowing to a halt. But it's not over yet :( ! I find my lips still dry and in need of a nice scrub... A lip scrub that is! If you are in need of a lip scrub, (if you have dry flakey lips, you could) try this one! ;)
You'll need
Brown sugar
Pure Cocoanut oil
Honey
Measuring spoons
Mixing bowls
Small empty jar (like a baby food container)
Labels (optional)
Mix a well rounded table spoon of cocoanut oil with a tablespoon of honey. The cocoanut oil should be soft enough to dig a spoon into. Mix, and add 2 hand packed table spoons of brown sugar then fold it into the base.
Add a teaspoon of melted cocoanut oil into the mix and stir.
Allow the scrub to be room temperature before use. If refrigerated it will last two weeks, and is completely edible.

"I use a bright nail color as a base and then add lighter designs just on my thumbs, like little white hearts." --Mariah, 13, Fairfield, CA
"I give myself a French manicure, but I use black and white. Paint your nails black with at least two coats. When they dry, paint white nail polish across the top (2 or 3 coats). Then you have awesome, stylish nails that are sure to stand out!" --Holly, 14, Springfield, MO
"I have a bunch of those little acrylic paints from the craft store, and I use them to paint my nails crazy colors! I love when every nail is different. They looks so bright and perk me up!" --Morgan, 16, Brick, NJ

"I absolutely love bright colored nail polish! I love how it pops and makes me stand out from everyone else! My favorite color is bright orange." --Kim, 14, Chicago, IL

Glitter
Glitter, as far as I've noticed, is becoming poplar. It's very versatile. When I use glitter, I often use an angled brush to apply it as eyeliner. Frankly, there is very many more ways to use it. You can use it:
On your face
On your arms or legs
As eyeliner or shadow
Just to name a few.
You can apply it with any brush, or just your fingers. I like to use it on a night out on the town.
Afterwards you can use a towel or makeup remover to remove them.
:) have fun with your glitter!!!
P.S.

How to Apply Mascara Like a Pro
I have noticed that a majority of women and young women wear mascara. Whether it's lengthening,
volumizing, curling or growing, you may not know how to apply it.
1. Bottoms first!!! Do the bottom lashes before the top. From root to tip apply the
mascara.
2. Now when the bottom lashes are dry you can do the top ones. Apply the mascara root to tip while you
wiggle the want on your lashes as you apply. It will help you get every lash.
3. Let dry and you're done!

How to Apply Eyeliner
Lately, I have been trying to master the art of eyeliner. It takes a TON of
practice and a steady hand.
If you are just starting out, don't go for liquid. It's the hardest to apply,
So don't try it just yet. But if you follow these steps, you should slowly
Improve.
1. Pull the outer side of you eye slightly taught (close your eye)
2. Start with the lid. On the taught closed eye, starting at the outer corner,
draw a line with a soft crayon eyeliner at the base of your lashes.
3. Now do the bottom. Do th same thing as you did for the lid, just this time
Keep your eye open. The line can be on top or the bottom of the lashes.
Hope this helps some!
